About Me
About Me
"Life is an experiment, not a score card" probably sums me up. It is not always comfortable! I realised early on that I need a decent helping of adventure and excitment in my life, even if I am not particularly brave or fearless.
Born and raised in Ireland, I have lived and worked in different countries since my 20s, currently UK based. I have made 3 big career direction changes, spending the first 12 years of my career as an Electronics Design Engineer designing computer and control systems for trains, planes and ships, living and working across Europe.
Looking for an new adventure I completed an MBA at Warwick Business School and my next career was in strategy, change management and running business units in financial services and public transport.
Ever curious about what makes people tick, I undertook an ICF accredited diploma in Tranformative Coaching in 2021 and have now set up my own practice.
Married with 2 grown up children and a dog, I have experienced the unexpected joy of parenting, messy juggling of home life with a career, and now empty nest. My own life has had plenty of ups and downs, joys & sorrow. I love sport and the outdoors, testing my limits, challenging myself, and new adventures. A recent realisation, for me, the best bit might be the people I meet on the way.
Why Choose me as a Coach ?
A common theme across my different careers is helping people and organisations solve big, challenging problems, or find pathways towards a goal. I get a real buzz out of empowering people to explore and figure out what they REALLY want out of life and what's stopping them get it.Â
I bring my curiosity, listening and analytical skills, work with my client to identify underlying motivations and then look creatively for options to move forward. I will push you to make sure your option is big enough for you. My ultimate aim is to give people the skills and confidence to live the lives they truly want.
